Qube Cinema Named Official Content Services Partner of the 2026 American Film Market
Today, Qube Cinema announced its partnership with the American Film Market 2026 (AFM) as its Official Content Services Partner for AFM 2026. Running from November 10-15 in Los Angeles, the AFM is one of the world's leading film sales markets, bringing together thousands of independent producers, sales companies, distributors, buyers, and other industry professionals to do business. Hundreds of films will be screened during the market, and Qube will master and localize this content for theatrical presentation. Additionally, all digital cinema packages (DCPs) and keys will be delivered through Qube Wire's cloud-based distribution network directly to the Theatre Management System (TMS) at AMC Century 15. By bringing these capabilities together, Qube will help streamline the process of preparing films for screening, giving AFM participants a reliable and efficient pathway from content preparation to the big screen.
The American Film Market commented, "Independent producers and sales agents need tools that are powerful, reliable, and easy to use. Qube Cinema’s streamlined workflow gives our community exactly that, and we're very pleased to be working with them."
The relationship reflects Qube's broader role in the digital content supply chain. For 40 years, Qube has developed technology and services that simplify content production and distribution, helping filmmakers, content owners, and distributors navigate the operational complexities of bringing content to audiences. Its capabilities span mastering, localization, packaging, and delivery, with thousands of titles moving through its content pipeline each year.
All AFM screenings will take place at AMC Century City 15, a valued exhibitor partner of Qube Wire. AMC Theatres is part of Qube Wire's global network of more than 7,000 connected theatres, many of which operate on Arts Alliance Media's Theatre Management Systems, recently acquired by Qube. Qube's experience supporting content delivery across this network, combined with its broader content services capabilities, makes it well positioned to support AFM's screening requirements.
"Qube supports the digital content supply chain from post-production through to distribution, with a focus on giving customers the technology and services they need to achieve more with their resources," said Alan Christensen, Head of Business Development, Qube Wire. "AFM is a great example of how these capabilities come together. By combining mastering, localization, packaging, and delivery through an integrated workflow, we can help independent filmmakers and sales companies simplify the process of getting their films ready for the screen. Our infrastructure is built to help lean teams operate more efficiently, reduce complexity, and extend their reach." The AFM partnership underscores Qube's continued commitment to supporting the independent film ecosystem with technology and services that address the practical challenges of content preparation and distribution.
