Four Years of Digital Cinema Support for La Biennale di Venezia
Qube Cinema has again been selected as the digital cinema technology provider for the Venice Film Festival, August 31 through September 10. La Biennale di Venezia has grown to become one of the world's premiere film events, providing a showcase both for new cinematic works, and the technologies used to exhibit them. Now in its fourth year with the festival, Qube Cinema is supplying digital cinema servers and technical support.
A Smart New Alternative for Digital Screens from Qube Cinema

New Digital Cinema Technologies for Mastering, Encryption and Exhibition
Qube Cinema, a world leader in digital cinema technology will present the new Qube Xi 4K Integrated Media Block; QubeMaster Xport, a DCP mastering plug-in for Final Cut Pro users; Qube KeySmith, a KDM generating system, along with the company’s XP-D digital cinema server at CineEurope in Amsterdam, June 27-30. Building on technologies developed by parent company Real Image, Qube Cinema offers filmmakers, post facilities and exhibitors an easy path into the rapidly growing world of digital cinema.
FCP plug-in for digital releases
In yet another example of the democratization of tools, indie filmmakers can now make Digital Cinema Packages (DCP's) using a $700 plug-in to Apple's Final Cut Pro editing software.
Available at Qube Cinema's web store, the DCP mastering plug-in lets post houses and content creators output DCI-compliant DCP masters directly from the Final Cut Compressor.
The system, called QubeMaster Xport, it is available in four versions. QubeMaster Xport 2K retails for $799. QubeMaster Xport 3D and QubeMaster Xport 4K are available for $1,798 each. Users who need both stereo 3D and 4K mastering, can opt for QubeMaster Xport 4K and 3D at $2,797.
New Final Cut Studio® Plugin for DCP Mastering Now Available
Qube Cinema today announced the launch of the company's new online web store (http://www.qubecinema.com/products/xport) where filmmakers, post houses and pre-show content creators can purchase the new QubeMaster Xport Final Cut Studio plug-in. The system, which debuted at NAB in April, enables users to output DCI-compliant Digital Cinema Package (DCP) masters directly from the Final Cut Compressor.

Built on technologies proven in years of use by parent company Real Image, Qube Keysmith allows filmmakers, production companies and post houses to encrypt Digital Cinema content with Key Delivery Messages (KDMs) for exhibitors.
